Rongdhonu Foundation is proudly announcing the opening of its regular event “ঈদের খুশি -২০১৮” (Happiness of Eid – 2018).
Starting from 2014, the main goal of this event is to let the helpless and poor children share the happiness and joy of Eid festival. Rongdhonu foundation takes these street children to the shopping centers and lets them buy new dresses of their own choices.
At the opening program of the event on Saturday, students who were offered scholarship by Rongdhonu Foundation bought new dresses.
The owner of the ‘Shoily Collection’, situated at Lucky Plaza, and member of the foundation Mr. Mahbubur Rahman was present at the opening, as well as Sahadat Hossain, Akib Muhammad Asif, S M Samrat, Tania Sultana, Mahmudul Hasan, Shahbaz, Kazi Nusrat Hasan, Umme Hafsa, Tonni Das Gupta, Nusrat Jahan, Farzana Akter and Sayed Imran.
Member of the foundation Umme Hafsa said, “They (the helpless children) will shop just like we do. They have the right to celebrate Eid as well”.
Another member Kazi Nusrat Hasan said, “This event will continue until Eid.”
